Write your “Rationale for choosing Qualitative Research and Paradigm(s) Guiding the Research and Design” sections of your précis. As you write these sections keep in mind the following guidelines: a. Make sure you highlight all the advantages of using qualitative research as it relates to your study and cite the appropriate sources to support your claims. b. Be explicit about defining the paradigm, relating it to your study, and articulating the epistemology, ontology, and axiology that guide your research. c. Tell the reader the design that you have selected and explain clearly the rationale behind your selection of that specific design. In other words, why do you think that the selected design is more appropriate to your study than any other one? This should include detail about the historical underpinnings as well as core elements of the design (but not data analysis steps, which you will save for the “Analysis” section). Again, you need to cite the appropriate sources to support your claims.Instructions

Organizational Change and the Role Creative Leadership Play ( My Study / Topic)
Within many organizations, one of the most challenging feats to accomplish is
introducing change, specifically a change in an organization’s culture. While many organizations
have clear strategic goals and objectives, it sometimes is difficult to accomplish them due to past
practices and also based on the leadership. In this paper, it will explore how contingency theory
and the creative theory can influence organizational change. More importantly, how the
utilization and implementation of integrated management systems can positively impact and
align an organization’s strategic goals and to influence change.
According to (DuBrin, 2016) leadership produces dramatic change. However, in order for
change to be effective, a leader must be active by bringing about changes. “Fiedler’s contingency
theory classifies situations as high, moderate, and low control. The more control that the leader
exercises, the more favorable the situation are for the leader” (DuBrin, 2016, p.149). Based on
what DuBrin infers, in order for an organization to change its culture, it is dependent upon the
will and ability of the leader.
I selected this topic because in the Virgin Islands Government there is a need for change.
However, change is obstructed from taking place due to past practices and lack of leadership.
Hence the need for creative leadership to bring innovation and change to an organization
eliminating past practices and introducing divergent thinking.
